Job summary

KBR is seeking an Engineer Equipment Mechanic for the Marine Corps Prepositioning Program (MCPP) to maintain and repair diesel engines and chassis equipment, including cranes, forklifts, and road machines, on site at Fort Sill. The role involves MVAC work, rebuilds, and on-job training for junior staff. Requirements include a high school diploma, 6 years of related experience, MVAC certification, and CAC/Base access.

Must lift 50 pounds and hold a valid driver's license. U.S.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Six years of directly related work experience.
• Complete Basic Engineer Program Mechanics Course, or equivalent.
• Complete MVAC course and hold a valid certificate.
• Must have valid state driver license and CAC/Base Access.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair MVAC systems.
• Perform maintenance at operator, intermediate and limited major rebuild levels, including spot painting.
• Provide technical assistance, guidance, or training to lower level mechanics.
• Performs other tasks as assigned.
