Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals in Richmond, KY is seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our growing national team. You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics and repairs on a variety of diesel equipment and large-scale machinery, with a focus on safety and downtime prevention.

Minimum requirements include a high school diploma or GED, 3–5 years of diesel/heavy equipment experience, and strong hydraulic and electrical systems knowledge. Bilingual ability may be required depending on location.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; some trade school or equivalent training desired.
• 3–5 years of mechanic experience with diesel/heavy equipment or specialty lines strongly preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems with troubleshooting skills.
• May need to provide mechanic’s tools of the trade; ability to adapt to changing priorities.
