Job summary

TALENT Software Services is seeking an Equipment Installation Lead to direct complex mechanical installations on production lines. You will provide on-site leadership, apply advanced mechanical expertise, and coordinate with vendors to safeguard scope, schedule, and cost.

Responsibilities include leading on-site crews, interpreting detailed drawings, training junior technicians, and ensuring safety and quality throughout installations across multiple sites in NC.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or substantial hands-on experience required.
• At least three years installing new equipment in manufacturing.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Lead on-site installation crews, assign tasks, and track progress.
• Interpret drawings, schematics, and installation manuals for installations.
• Perform advanced mechanical work including rigging, alignment, and piping.
• Troubleshoot installation issues and ensure OEM specs, safety, and quality.
• Mentor junior technicians and coordinate with engineers, PMs, and customers.
• Support planning, sequencing, and scheduling; manage materials and tools.
