Job summary

CTG is seeking an experienced Equipment Installation Lead for a W2 contract in Newton, NC. You will oversee and perform complex mechanical installations, coordinate crews and vendors, and ensure projects meet schedules and specifications.

This hands-on leadership role requires strong troubleshooting, drawings interpretation, and safety compliance. The position requires commuting to Newton, NC, with travel to project sites in Newton and Hickory.

Qualifications

• Experience leading equipment installation and startup in a manufacturing setting.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
• Proven ability to manage installation crews, vendors, and timelines.

Responsibilities

• Lead equipment installation, debugging, startup, and mechanical integration activities.
• Direct installation crews and subcontractors; assign tasks and mentor technicians.
• Troubleshoot complex mechanical issues and implement production-ready solutions.
• Coordinate project schedules, materials, tools, equipment, vendors, and resources.
• Perform alignment, leveling, rigging, torquing, testing, and calibration.
• Maintain installation records, inspection reports, and engineering documentation.
