Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in commercial credit underwriting.
- Demonstrated success underwriting commercial credit.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Strong written and verbal communication; customer service orientation.
Responsibilities
- Underwrite high quality credit narratives for new and existing loans.
- Spread financial statements and tax returns using Moody's software to analyze multi-year trends and ratios.
- Analyze cash flow from operations and identify recurring sources.
- Research industry trends and risks.
- Perform collateral analysis including AR, inventory, real estate and investments.
- Run credit reports and gather/analyze KYC information.
- Monitor delinquency, delinquency trends and repossession activity with other teams.
- Provide written loan recommendations and alternate structure options.
- Coach and mentor junior analysts and lead special projects.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
