Commonwealth Fusion Systems is seeking a Senior Engineering Project Manager to lead equipment projects and drive multi-year factory buildouts. You will own schedules, budgets, and BOMs while aligning cross-functional teams and stakeholders to strategic priorities.

You will apply formal project management methods, adapt plans to evolving goals, and ensure safe, compliant operations in a high-tech manufacturing environment. This role is onsite in Massachusetts.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering field.
• 8+ years of engineering and project management experience.
• Experience managing hardware or equipment engineering projects.
• Ability to operate mostly independently and make project decisions.
• Proficiency with project management frameworks and approaches.
• Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, and scheduling tools such as MS Project or Primavera P6.

Mansioni

• Lead projects by defining the work scope, establishing a Work Breakdown Structure, and creating schedules and cost estimates.
• Develop and report on project plans, milestones, budgets, staffing plans, and BOMs.
• Evaluate new project requests and analyze defined problems with team managers to define resolutions.
• Mitigate near and medium-term risks and manage budgets and timelines.
• Communicate plans, issues, risks, and solutions to leaders and stakeholders.
• Ensure project teams have context to execute tasks and avoid relitigating past decisions.
• Partner with indirect supply chain teams to manage vendor relationships and ensure timely design reviews and inputs.
• Travel or nights/weekends/on-call as required.
• Comply with safety requirements in potentially hazardous environments.
