Serverfarm is seeking a Senior EPMS Design Engineer to lead the technical development, standardization, and integration of Electrical Power Monitoring Systems across a global fleet of data centers.

You will bridge electrical design concepts with controls engineering and operations, owning EPMS specifications, network architectures, and control logic to ensure robust telemetry and fault visibility for hyperscale environments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of direct EPMS design, engineering, or systems integration exp.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field; military experience as substitute accepted.
• Experience generating/reading electrical single-line diagrams and control schematics.
• Strong knowledge of Modbus, BACnet, and Ethernet TCP/IP networking.
• Familiarity with CSI Division 25/26 specifications and EPMS standards.

Responsabilités

• Author and maintain EPMS design deliverables, including diagrams, SOO, BOD, I/O lists, and SOWs.
• Own Division 25/26 EPMS specifications and telemetry schemas across projects.
• Review MEP drawing packages for EPMS coverage, redundancy, and metering alignment.
• Review hardware submittals (switchgear, UPS, generators) for telemetry and gateway compliance.
• Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and RFIs to minimize scope gaps and changes.
• Specify PLC/hardware, communications architecture, and network segmentation.
• Define integration strategies linking EPMS to BMS, BCMS, and cloud telemetry brokers.
• Support commissioning with FATs, EQTs, and L1-L5 testing; assist in QA/QC.
