Job summary

Serverfarm is seeking a Senior EPMS Design Engineer to own the technical development of Electrical Power Monitoring Systems across our global data center fleet. You will bridge electrical design concepts with controls engineering, ensuring robust telemetry, fault visibility, and automated monitoring for hyperscale environments.

You will lead EPMS specifications, network architectures, and control logic, coordinating with PLCs, BMS, and cloud telemetry to deliver scalable, reliable power

Qualifications

• 5+ years of direct EPMS design, engineering, or systems integration experience in data centers or mission-critical facilities.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Experience generating/reading electrical single-line diagrams, control schematics, and BOMs.
• Strong knowledge of Modbus, BACnet, and Ethernet networking.

Responsibilities

• Author and maintain EPMS design deliverables including network diagrams, SOOs, and BOD documents.
• Own Division 25 and Division 26 EPMS specifications and telemetry schemas.
• Review electrical drawings for complete EPMS coverage and metering alignment.
• Evaluate vendor submittals and RFIs to optimize scope and reduce gaps.
• Define integration strategies linking EPMS to PLCs, BMS, BCMS, and cloud telemetry brokers.
