Job summary

CVS Healthspire Life Sciences Solutions is seeking a Senior Associate Epidemiologist / Senior Decision Scientist to advance real‑world evidence programs and cultivate external research collaborations. You will help identify opportunities and position LSS as a valued research partner and subcontractor in funded projects.

The role emphasizes epidemiologic expertise, analytic capabilities, and partnerships with academic institutions, consortia, and foundations across the United States.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in epidemiology, Pharmacoepidemiology, health outcomes research, or real‑world evidence generation.
• Experience identifying, developing, or supporting externally funded research opportunities and collaborations.
• Strong scientific writing, presentation, and communication skills.
• Experience preparing research protocols, analytical plans, and scientific documentation.

Responsibilities

• Identify and advance collaborative research opportunities with academic investigators, networks, government agencies, and public health organizations.
• Establish and maintain strategic partnerships to support joint publications, grant proposals, and scientific initiatives.
• Proactively monitor grant opportunities relevant to epidemiology, public health, health outcomes, and real‑world evidence.
• Lead or support scientific dissemination efforts, including manuscripts and conference presentations.
• Collaborate across multidisciplinary teams including epidemiologists, data scientists, clinicians, and external partners.
