Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in epidemiology, pharmacoepidemiology, health outcomes research, or real-world evidence generation.
• Strong understanding of observational study design and epidemiologic methods.
• 5+ years using SAS, SQL, and/or Python.
• Strong scientific writing, presentation, and communication skills.
• Experience preparing research protocols and analytical plans.
• Ability to manage multiple research initiatives simultaneously.
• Self-directed with passion for public health.

Responsibilities

• Identify and advance collaborative research opportunities with academic investigators and public health orgs.
• Establish partnerships to support publications, grant proposals, and scientific initiatives.
• Monitor grant opportunities from federal agencies and foundations.
• Evaluate where CVS capabilities address research gaps as subcontractor or partner.
• Develop research concepts and contribute to study protocols and deliverables.
• Lead or support dissemination via manuscripts, abstracts, and conferences.
• Support analysis of large healthcare datasets.
• Generate analytical outputs and ensure scientific rigor and compliance.
• Utilize SAS, SQL, Python, and other tools to manage data and generate insights.
• Collaborate across multidisciplinary teams including clinicians and researchers.
