Job summary

The Henry M. Jackson Foundation for the Advancement of Military Medicine, Inc. seeks an Epidemiologist III to lead epidemiologic analyses, program development, and research management in support of WRIISC and CETCE at the VA Medical Center, DC.

This role emphasizes surveillance, data analysis, IRB compliance, and collaboration with PI and team to advance military exposure research and tool development.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of complex epidemiologic methods for disease risk assessment.
• Ability to develop and review study designs and analytic plans.
• Experience with regulatory documentation and IRB processes.

Responsibilities

• Initiates, designs, and implements epidemiological analyses of large datasets.
• Coordinates development of research protocols and periodic reports.
• Manages portfolio of research projects including proposal review.
• Develops study design and reporting quality with PI and team.
• Provides ongoing evaluation and oversight of projects.
• Maintains IRB regulatory documentation and compliance.
• Collaborates on military exposure protocols and investigator work.
• Attends required role-specific training.
