Job summary

Memorial Hermann Health System is looking for a Senior Epic Application Analyst to advance the functionality and operational efficiency of Epic applications within a large healthcare setting. You will translate user needs into technical solutions, lead complex projects, and provide advanced Epic support across teams.

The role requires Epic certification and 4+ years of related experience, with strong analytical, planning and communication skills and a track record of mentoring others.

Qualifications

• Associates degree required; Epic certification preferred.
• Epic Certification required.
• 4+ years of experience in healthcare IT systems development/implementation.
• Experience with Epic applications and implementation.
• Strong analytical, planning and communication skills.
• Ability to lead others and train staff.

Responsibilities

• Translates user and department Epic system needs into technical solutions.
• Performs project reviews and process walkthroughs incorporating technical, clinical and business solutions.
• Provides technical knowledge in support of Epic and other software applications and operating systems.
• Performs advanced analysis, design, building, testing, and implementation of Epic and other programs.
• Develops and enforces technical development, application support and information management standards.
• Participates in after-hours technical support on a rotating schedule.
• Delivers training sessions for staff and informs Manager of project status.
