Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking an Epic Inpatient Orders Application Analyst Senior for a fully remote role with quarterly travel. The position focuses on planning, designing, implementing, and optimizing Epic Inpatient Orders across complex healthcare information systems.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required or 9 years of related experience
EpicCare Ambulatory Certification and healthcare EHR experience preferred
Strong understanding of IT project management and control

Responsibilities

Provides stakeholder analysis and problem resolution.
Translates requirements into design and development specs with product management involvement.
Configures, tests, installs, implements, and maintains complex systems.
Documents workflow changes and designs to support business needs.
Collaborates with vendors for third‑party integration and support.
Manages mid‑size IT projects and coordinates cross‑functional teams.
Oversees quality reviews of team projects and mentors staff.
Develops training materials for peers and end users.
Participates in on‑call and command center responsibilities.
Develops testing plans to verify system outputs and integrity.
