Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking an Epic Inpatient Orders Application Analyst Senior to design, implement, and support Epic Inpatient Orders and related systems. You will plan and optimize workflows, coordinate with vendors, and mentor teams while maintaining strong documentation and testing practices.

The role requires Epic Ambulatory/Inpatient certification and experience with healthcare EHRs, with full remote work and periodic travel to support projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in IT, healthcare, business, or related field.
• Four years of work experience, or pursuing Bachelor's with six years in related areas.
• Will certify on Epic applications and maintain certification.

Responsibilities

• Provides stakeholder support by analyzing problems and determining resolutions.
• Translates requirements into design/specifications and supports product management.
• Configures, tests, installs, implements, monitors, and maintains complex systems.
• Documents workflow changes and technical/functional designs for business needs.
• Collaborates with vendors for integration, support, and troubleshooting.
• Handles on-call and command center duties and develops testing plans.
