Job summary
Virginia Garcia Memorial Health Center seeks an Senior EHR Support Analyst to analyze, modify, and optimize Epic EHR (EpicCare, Wisdom, Willow). You will mentor junior analysts and train new hires while supporting the Service Desk transition.
Applicants should have Epic certifications or be prepared to complete them within 24 months, with strong problem-solving, training, and collaboration skills.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in CS or related field.
- Minimum three years’ EHR/IT experience in support/operations.
- EpicCare Ambulatory, Epic Prelude, and Epic Cadence certifications required or achieved within 24 months.
- OCHIN certification/proficiency required.
Responsibilities
- Provide first and second level EHR support for EpicCare, Wisdom, and Willow.
- Mentor and train junior EHR Support Analysts.
- Assist with testing and rollout of new software and upgrades.
- Maintain PHI security per HIPAA guidelines.
- Manage provider and user accounts, PMFs, and access controls.
- Coordinate with VG communications and training teams for user adoption.
- Document workflows and training materials; develop Visio workflow maps.
- Support service desk transitions and incident escalation.
