Job summary

Northwell Health in New York seeks an experienced Epic EHR analyst to lead analysis, configuration, implementation and optimization of complex Epic applications. You will independently resolve advanced issues and mentor junior team members, aligning technical solutions with business goals.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree, 3–5 years of Epic experience, and Epic certification; Epic Professional Billing certification is highly preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required, or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
• 3-5 years of relevant experience, required.
• Epic certification, required.
• Epic Professional Billing Certification Highly Preferred.

Responsibilities

• Leads comprehensive analysis of current workflows, system functionality and data; designs, builds and optimizes Epic IT solutions with latitude in objectives.
• Independently evaluates and resolves highly complex cross-functional problems; serves as primary technical resource for Epic modules.
• Collaborates with cross-functional teams to define requirements and translate them into Epic designs; develops internal procedures and best practices.
• Mentors and provides guidance to junior analysts to ensure adherence to standards and best practices.
• Analyzes new Epic functionality and identifies opportunities for strategic enhancements and process improvements across projects.
• Coordinates activities with Epic technical support and external partners to manage complex issues through resolution.
