Job summary

NYC Health + Hospitals seeks an expert data consultant to advise on complex data processing problems, feasibility of major projects, benefits, costs, and system integration across Clarity Chronicles ETL, Caboodle, and EDW environments.

You will help design, review, and oversee implementations within the MIS Computer Center, coordinating cross‑functional teams in a 24/7 operation and contributing to agile project management and data reporting initiatives.

Qualifications

A Baccalaureate Degree from an accredited college or university in a related field and five years of progressive experience in data processing/computer systems.
Broad knowledge of computers, peripherals, and data management; experience with EDp applications and systems analysis.
Experience with designing feasible system interfaces and standards for electronic data methods.
Interest in health care MIS and data integration is a plus.

Responsibilities

Recommends approaches for data processing system design and selection of systems.
Develops designs for feasibility studies and analyzes project requests.
Recommends programs and standards to standardize electronic data methods.
Maintains high technical competence in latest ERP/IT technology for health care MIS.
Performs analysis to identify and resolve processing problems.
Selects equipment to meet department requirements considering cost and performance.
