Job summary

OU Health is seeking a Data Specialist in the Quality Data Reporting department. The role focuses on advanced data preparation, analysis, and reporting to support quality improvement efforts, with emphasis on data integrity and actionable insights.

The ideal candidate has Epic Caboodle/Clarity experience and will work with analytics to refine reporting standards for systemwide initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Health Informatics, Statistics, Data Science, or related field required.
• 3+ years of related experience for Level II or 5+ years for Level III.

Responsibilities

• Collects, validates, and maintains datasets supporting quality, safety, and patient experience initiatives.
• Develops and maintains dashboards, reports, and analytic products; improves data processes with BI tools.
• Partners with stakeholders to interpret analytic outputs for decision-making.
• Translates analytic findings into actionable insights and supports improvement initiatives.
• Stays updated on industry trends and regulatory programs.
