Position Overview

The Senior Patient Access Application Analyst supports OCHIN’s mission through complex configurations of Epic applications within the Epic EHR software for our member clinics. This role involves consulting with members and internal staff to provide solutions that offer accurate, secure, and efficient workflows, focusing on quality outcomes for our member organizations. The role resides on our Epic Enhancements team.

Essential Duties

• Perform complex build and configuration in Epic and related products.
• Operate within OCHIN’s Member Care Team framework as a key contributor.
• Lead working sessions with members to resolve complex integration work orders.
• Discuss and provide workflow solutions and conduct hands-on training.
• Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) on applications.
• Mentor other analysts on complex projects.
• Document build specifications, processes, and workflows.
• QA complex builds and updates.
• Collaborate on integration issues.
• Support clinic staff during Go-Lives and dress rehearsals.
• Lead trainings and workgroups.
• Mentor and train less experienced analysts.
• Develop workflow best practices.
• Travel for off-site software installations as needed.
• Assist project managers with system capabilities.
• Build, test, and document new system features.
• Suggest process improvements.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
• Certifications in Cadence, Prelude, MyChart, Referrals; Epic certifications highly desirable.
• At least 5 years as an Epic Applications Analyst, with 3+ years in Epic build, patient self-scheduling experience preferred.
• Work history in Healthcare IT required.
• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare informatics or computer science preferred, or equivalent experience.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong communication skills.
• Integrity and accountability.
• Detail-oriented with data-driven decision-making.
• Proactive and solution-focused.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.

Pay Range

Min $89,836 – Mid $116,786 – Max $143,737. Actual offer depends on skills, experience, and market factors.

Work Location & Travel

Remote organization, with potential travel for on-site support based on business needs.
