Job summary

Children's National Hospital is seeking an Epic Senior Analytics Developer to lead reporting across the Epic Cogito and Foundation systems. You will build and maintain reports, dashboards, and data visualizations to support leadership and end users, validating data and ensuring performance.

The role requires Epic certification within 6 weeks of training, deep SQL and OLAP expertise, and strong collaboration with clinical and IT teams in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with relational database concepts, SQL for data extraction and reporting.
• Expertise in OLAP, Oracle, SQL Server, T-SQL, PLSQL, XML, HTML.
• Experience with data analysis and visualization tools such as Tableau and Power BI.

Responsibilities

• Develop BI solutions architecture translating business requirements to tech solutions.
• Collaborate with clinicians, administrators, and IT to translate reporting needs for Epic EHR.
• Develop, customize, and maintain Epic reports using Clarity, WR, Radar Dashboards.
• Design reports, dashboards, and visualizations to communicate KPIs and trends.
• Validate data, troubleshoot data extraction, transformation, and report issues.
• Lead reporting workflow optimization and stay updated on Epic features.
