Job summary

Stratos Solutions seeks an Advanced Electro-Optical Systems Engineer to support an IC space customer in the GEOINT Ground System Program Office in Northern Virginia. You will provide technical leadership for the development, integration, and deployment of advanced EO remote sensing systems and GEOINT ground processing capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required; relevant experience may substitute for degree requirements.
• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise across EO collection systems, payloads, and ground processing architectures.
• Evaluate EO system performance and mission effectiveness across the lifecycle.
• Support requirements, architecture analysis, design reviews, integration, testing, and operational transition.
• Assess engineering trade studies and technical approaches for future EO capability development.
• Review technical documentation, interface specs, and engineering baselines.
• Apply EO phenomenology, radiometry, optics, detector technologies, and sensor physics.
