Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (prefer in Risk Management or Environmental Sciences).
• 5-10 years of commercial underwriting experience with multi‑line rating experience.
• Experience in underwriting Transportation / Auto.
• Capable of working in a “paperless” work environment.
• Proficient in Excel, Word, Spreadsheets, PowerPoint and email systems.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite Environmental lines for any industry segment within authority.
• Manage assigned brokers to underwrite and discuss products and procedures.
• Handle broker accounts and process renewals, new business and endorsements.
• Perform financial analysis of insureds using appropriate tools.
• Create and solicit renewal applications after reviewing expiring policy and loss information.
