Berkley Environmental in Boston seeks a commercial underwriter to manage brokers and underwrite environmental and casualty lines across industries. You will handle pollution, general liability, auto and workers’ compensation with a focus on growth and profitability.
Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of underwriting experience, comfort in a paperless workflow, and proficiency with Excel, Word, PowerPoint and email tools to analyze risk and manage accounts.

Within authority, the incumbent will manage assigned brokers to underwrite and process environmental and/or casualty lines for the Environmental Services Industry and/or Environmental lines for any industry segment. Work with assigned brokers to underwrite Pollution, Professional Liability, General Liability, Automobile, Worker Compensation and Excess lines focused on the Environmental industry.
