Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to use computer and prefer supervisory experience.
• Attend all monthly departmental meetings or review meeting minutes.
• Annually attend Infection Control and Safety In-services as specified in personnel policy.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a high level of cleanliness in assigned areas.
• May work closely with other departments to coordinate projects, room moves, room turn overs, etc.
• Assign personnel to established work areas or project duties.
• Depending upon location, may assist with coverage in areas of housekeeping and laundry during staffing shortages.
• Plan and coordinate project work to ensure that proper frequencies are maintained.
• Provide and monitor individual guidance and motivation to associates to enable each one to perform to fullest potential.
• Monitor daily equipment use, cleaning and maintenance and ensure professional appearance at all times.
• Assist with The Joint Commission (TJC) compliance and participate in staff selection process.
• Review duty lists with regular and relief associates periodically and maintain records.
