Job summary

University of Michigan is seeking a Multifunction Services Senior Supervisor within Environmental Services (EVS) to provide direct supervision and advanced operational leadership for 20+ EVS staff. You will oversee payroll, timekeeping, quality monitoring, and service recovery, while guiding managers and senior supervisors in leadership practices and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with supervisory experience in EVS, healthcare, or related field.
• 8+ years of supervisory experience in EVS or similar setting.
• Demonstrated ability to supervise 15+ employees and manage payroll/timekeeping processes.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct supervision for 20+ EVS employees and oversee performance, productivity, attendance, quality and safety.
• Coordinate staffing, shift coverage, workflow, and room turnaround priorities to ensure timely service delivery.
• Lead department projects and process improvements; mentor junior supervisors and coordinate escalation as needed.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, training, evaluations, and corrective actions with HR collaboration.
• Analyze trends in quality, safety, service and compliance and implement corrective actions.
