Job summary

AdventHealth in Sebring, Florida is seeking a full-time Environmental Services worker to maintain cleanliness in patient rooms and facilities. Responsibilities include trash removal, room sanitation, and supply stocking, with emphasis on infection control and proper use of cleaning equipment.

The role requires English communication, basic computer skills, and at least one year of technical experience; High School diploma or equivalent preferred. Night shift in the United States.

Qualifications

• English communication is required.
• Basic computer skills including MS Office.
• One year of technical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Cleans assigned areas daily including trash removal and sanitizing surfaces.
• Stocks paper items and supplies in assigned areas as needed.
• Demonstrates knowledge of infection control and proper operation of cleaning equipment.
• Documents all work performed and stocks cart daily with supplies.
• Cleans patient rooms, public areas, restrooms, offices, and related rooms.
• Collects and disposes of trash properly; stages soiled linen for pickup.
• Performs sweeping, mopping, dusting, wall washing, scrubbing, bed making and vacuuming.
• Disposes of waste and participates in training and accountability of staff.
