Job summary

AdventHealth is seeking a part-time Environmental Services Associate in Florida. You will clean patient and public areas daily, stock supplies, and follow infection control standards to maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.

The role requires basic computer skills, strong English communication, and the ability to follow safety procedures. Prior healthcare housekeeping experience is preferred, and equipment handling will be part of daily tasks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• Healthcare housekeeping experience preferred.
• Strong English communication is required.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and instructions.
• Basic computer skills: mouse/keyboard.

Responsibilities

• Clean assigned patient and public areas daily including trash removal and surface sanitization.
• Stock paper items, cleaning solutions and supplies in assigned areas.
• Demonstrate knowledge of infection control and isolation procedures.
• Use Bed Management system and handheld devices for bed throughput tracking.
• Operate cleaning equipment and carts; dispose of waste (normal and biohazardous).
• Document all work performed and access ancillary units and restrooms.
