AdventHealth in Zephyrhills, FL is seeking an Environmental Services Associate to maintain clean patient and public areas daily, follow infection control procedures, and support a safe, healing environment.

This full-time night shift role requires strong English communication, basic computer skills, and the ability to operate standard office software. Pay range is $15.84–$25.34 per hour, with comprehensive benefits from day one.

Qualifications

• Able to communicate in English (Required).
• Basic computer skills and use of mouse and keyboard (Required).
• Must be able to operate a computer using standard office software (Required).
• Excellent customer service skills (Required).
• Ability to interact with patients (Required).

Responsibilities

• Cleans assigned patient and public areas daily, including collecting and removing trash and sanitizing all surfaces.
• Stocks paper items, cleaning solutions and other supplies in assigned areas as necessary or designated.
• Demonstrates complete knowledge of infection control, isolation procedures, and proper operation of cleaning equipment.
• Utilizes Bed Management system to maintain productive flow of bed throughput, using hand-held technology for tracking.
• Utilizes equipment that includes cleaning/trash cart, and other janitorial supplies. Collects and stages soiled linen for pickup.
• Disposes of normal and biohazardous waste.
• Cleans and disinfects areas containing bodily fluids in accordance with facility standards.
• Documents all work performed.
• Accesses ancillary units, restrooms, offices in assigned areas.
• Other duties assigned.
