Job summary

Brice Engineering LLC is seeking an Environmental Scientist III to join our team across multiple locations, including Salt Lake City, UT. You will collect and synthesize data, support project documentation, and mentor staff while ensuring regulatory compliance.

Ideal candidates have 7–15 years of environmental experience, a bachelor’s in environmental science, and strong leadership skills. Responsibilities include RCRA-focused evaluations, team coordination, and safety leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in physical or environmental science.
• Seven to fifteen years of experience on environmental projects or in an environmental analytical laboratory.
• Familiar with 18 AAC 75, 18 AAC 78 and the ADEC guidance.
• Valid state driver’s license and ability to pass drug and background screening.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site inspections, assessments, investigations, and cleanups per regulations.
• Lead data collection with environmental technicians and prepare project documentation.
• Prepare technical evaluations of sites using RCRA guidelines.
• Provide guidance and oversight to project staff and ensure compliance with standards.
• Lead project planning, RFP responses, and client liaison activities.
• Advance a proactive safety culture and project delivery.
