Job summary

Brice Engineering LLC is seeking an Environmental Scientist III to support environmental site investigations and documentation across multiple project sites, including Salt Lake City, UT. You will collect, synthesize, and document data, supervise field activities, and assist in project planning and client communications.

The role emphasizes leading projects, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and providing technical QA/QC for deliverables while fostering a proactive safety culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in physical or environmental science.
• 7–15 years of experience on environmental projects or in an environmental analytical lab.
• Familiar with Alaska and US environmental regulations (ADEC, etc.).
• Valid state driver’s license and ability to pass background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Conduct and oversee site inspections, assessments, investigations, and cleanups per guidelines.
• Work with environmental technicians for data collection and evaluation.
• Prepare technical evaluations of investigated sites using RCRA guidelines.
• Provide guidance and oversight to project staff preparing documentation.
• Review permits, plans and compliance documents to meet project requirements.
• Prepare data visuals and determine data collection methods for site surveys.
• Lead projects and mentor team members; act as Deputy PM on selected projects.
