Qualifications

• 5+ years in environmental consulting or a related industry.
• Experience with federal/state regulations for earth disturbance, wetlands, endangered species.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the development and implementation of programs ensuring environmental regulatory obligations for construction of transmission lines and substations are met cost-effectively.
• Assist with preparation of permit packages, regulatory reports, and submittals.
• Review reports and recommendations by outside consultants; provide comments and technical input.
• Develop and maintain relationships with agencies, communities, and stakeholders to promote cooperative management strategies.
• Identify and assess environmental regulatory impacts on energy delivery facilities and provide guidance on compliance requirements.
