Job summary

Stantec is seeking an Environmental Scientist or Professional Geologist in southeastern Pennsylvania to advance their career within a growing team of environmental professionals. The role supports clients across regulatory and remediation projects, with field and office tasks and opportunities to lead multiple tasks.

Candidates should have a BS in Geology or Environmental Science, 8–12 years of experience, HAZWOPER certification, and willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Geology or Environmental Science.
• 8–12 years of environmental assessment/remediation experience.
• 40-hour HAZWOPER certification; OSHA supervisor certs favorable.

Responsibilities

• Organize and coordinate environmental investigations and remediation tasks.
• Mix of office and field tasks including project execution and reporting.
• Prepare site maps, logs, cross sections, and groundwater models.
• Oversee field activities: sampling, drilling, well installation, and safety.
• Travel may be required; irregular hours and potential overtime.
