Stillwater Sciences seeks a dedicated Senior Environmental Scientist to join our teamand make a substantial positive impact on the complex ecological issues facing Southern California. Our Los Angeles office delivers diverse projects spanning analysis, design, and planning for the restoration of Southern California’s ecosystems, rivers, and watersheds. Our projects prioritize the protection and enhancement of urban and wildland biodiversity, access to nature, and the creation of multi-benefit, nature-based solutions.
The selected candidate may work on a variety of site- to regional-scale, multi-disciplinary projects. Projects typically integrate rigorous ecology and hydrology-driven spatial or systems analyses to support conservation and restoration design, habitat connectivity, green infrastructure, landscape and watershed planning and design, and similar.Examples of recent and ongoing relevant projects include:
