Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in geology, hydrogeology, engineering, environmental science or closely related discipline (required).
  • Advanced degree in geology, hydrogeology, engineering, environmental science (preferred).
  • Professional registration (P.E. or P.G.) (preferred).
  • At least 7 years (8+ preferred) of direct environmental consulting experience in the Pacific Northwest (required).
  • Strong understanding of state and federal environmental regulations (required).
  • Experience coordinating projects including scope, schedule, budget, resources, quality, and client management (required).
  • Experience with RI/FS, groundwater monitoring, soil vapor extraction, multi-media sampling, and data analysis (required).
  • Strong technical writing skills for work plans, RI/FS documents, monitoring reports, and proposals (required).
  • Ability to mentor staff and work in fast-paced consulting environments (required).

Responsibilities

  • Manage investigations and remediation projects, including budgeting, scheduling, and profitability (required).
  • Evaluate contaminated sites and develop investigation/remediation approaches (required).
  • Lead proposal and work plan development, data evaluation, and technical recommendations (required).
  • Oversee pilot tests and remediation systems, including field supervision (required).
  • Prepare technical reports, letters, and client-ready deliverables (required).
  • Foster client relationships and support business development (required).
  • Mentor early-career staff and coordinate field teams (required).
  • Occasional fieldwork and travel (required).
