Job summary

WSP Global Inc. is seeking a Senior Project Manager / Environmental Engineer in Madison, Wisconsin. The role combines technical leadership, complex project delivery, client relationship management, and business development for water resources and environmental infrastructure projects.

You will supervise multidisciplinary teams, mentor staff, prepare proposals, and drive high-quality client service while ensuring QA/QC and safety compliance across projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Hydrogeology, or related field.
• 7+ years in environmental engineering or science; 5+ years in a project management role.
• Professional Engineer (PE).
• Experience with site investigations and remediation of sediment, surface water, groundwater.
• Strong technical writing, presentation, and communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and time management.
• Ability to pass drug test, background check, and driving record per policy.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex water resources and environmental infrastructure projects for industrial/commercial clients.
• Manage budgets, schedules, contracts, forecasting, and financial performance.
• Prepare proposals and develop scopes of work, budgets, and cost estimates.
• Maintain strong client relationships and manage multiple projects concurrently.
• Direct multidisciplinary teams and mentor engineers, geologists, and scientists.
• Ensure QA/QC compliance and safety programs on projects.
