WSP is seeking a Lead Civil Engineer for our Madison, WI and/or Lakewood, CO offices. You will lead civil and environmental projects with emphasis on energy and waste sectors, coordinating with geotechnical and environmental teams to deliver high-quality, compliant designs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering; Master’s preferred.
• Minimum 7 years of post-education experience in engineering and civil design.
• Professional licensure/certification.
• Ability to perform engineering computations and interpret plans and specs.
• Project management experience on small to mid-level projects.
• Strong communication and leadership when working with engineers and non-engineers.

Responsibilities

• Lead civil and environmental engineering tasks with focus on energy and waste sectors.
• Develop construction plans, specs, and cost estimates; coordinate with owners and sub-consultants.
• Prepare data visualizations, reports, and analyses for stakeholders.
• Ensure QA/QC and safety adherence across projects.
• Provide guidance to junior engineers and assist with project scoping.
