Job summary

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of CEQA and NEPA regulations for environmental planning.
• Experience preparing environmental documentation for Caltrans projects.

Responsibilities

• Plans and supervises urban/environmental planning projects of large scope.
• Acts as staff manager, technical leader and field expert.
• Assigns staffing and monitors productivity on projects.
• Estimates budgets and staffing; tracks financials and quality control.
• Ensures compliance with policies, procedures and regulations.
• Engages outside consultants when required.
• Consults with local authorities and land planning specialists.
• Represents the company at client meetings and conferences.
• Develops recommendations based on government measures for land-use projects.
• Facilitates public involvement and high-interest workshops.
• Reviews environmental impact reports and suggests plan changes.
