Job summary

GHD is seeking an Environmental Project Manager / Senior Environmental Project Manager to lead contaminated site assessment, remediation, and regulatory closure projects for Class I railroad clients across North America.

You will manage multi-disciplinary teams, develop budget forecasts, and coordinate with clients and regulators to deliver safe, compliant, and timely project outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Geology, Environmental Science, Engineering or related discipline.
• Professional Geologist or Professional Engineer license a plus.
• OSHA 40-Hour HAZWOPER certification a plus.
• eRailsafe certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead environmental projects and project teams, achieving client communication, scope, schedule, and budget objectives.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary project teams and stakeholders to deliver safe, efficient, and technically sound project outcomes.
• Manage projects through all phases of the project lifecycle, including emergency response, site investigation, remediation, monitoring, and closure.
• Develop and maintain project budgets, forecasts, and supporting documentation in accordance with client requirements.
• Oversee preparation of work plans, technical reports, cost estimates, and regulatory submittals that meet client and GHD quality standards.
• Lead projects to successful regulatory closure while balancing technical quality, client objectives, and risk management.
