Job summary

Stantec’s Northern California team is seeking a Project Manager with Senior Environmental Planner experience to join the Environmental Services Practice in the power utility sector. You will manage tasks, develop technical documents, and coordinate environmental permitting for utility clients.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Environmental Science, Urban, Regional or Environmental Land Use Planning or related field.
• CEQA/NEPA, CPUC experience is a plus.
• Minimum of 5 years of environmental planning and permitting for California IOUs.

Responsibilities

• Manage multi-discipline project schedules, budgets, staff, and project records to successful completion.
• Develop and implement work-flow processes and communication plans.
• Provide planning and permitting support for electrical transmission siting and licensing.
• Lead preparation and review of due diligence studies and environmental permitting documents.
• Mentor and coach staff to improve business development and project delivery.
• Develop scope and budgets for environmental tasks and proposals.
