Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC) is seeking a Hydrogeologist and Environmental Project Manager for our Pittsburgh, PA office to support field activities and data interpretation on groundwater investigations. You will work with senior hydrogeologists and expand expertise in aquifer tests and digital modelling.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Geology with Hydrogeology emphasis preferred; Bachelor's degree considered.
• 10+ years of relevant professional experience.
• Ability to travel (10-25%).
• Experience with Aqtesolv, MODFLOW and MT3D software.
• Ability to read and interpret safety plans and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide field and office support on environmental site characterization and hydrogeologic investigations.
• Oversee drilling of exploratory borings and installation of groundwater monitoring wells.
• Collect soil, surface water, and groundwater samples for analysis.
• Conduct aquifer testing and interpret pump tests data.
• Perform groundwater modelling using Aqtesolv, MODFLOW, MT3D.
• Prepare environmental data tables, logs, maps and assist in reports.
