Job summary

Fishbeck seeks a full-time Senior Environmental Project Manager / Environmental Professional (EP) to lead environmental due diligence projects across Michigan, including Phase I and II ESAs, BEAs, and related services. The role emphasizes mentoring staff and managing client relationships from proposal through project completion.

You will apply ASTM Standards, coordinate with regulators and lenders, and develop Conceptual Site Models while ensuring compliance with Michigan regulations and state

Qualifications

  • Must be an EP with the ability to sign off on reports.
  • Effective project, client management, and communication skills.
  • Organized, adaptable, and capable of creative thinking.
  • Ability to multi-task and manage multiple priorities.
  • Ability to assemble project teams using available resources and technical expertise.
  • Proficient with ASTM Standards for Environmental Due Diligence and AAI.
  • Strong knowledge of and experience with Michigan environmental regulations and guidance documentation.
  • MSHDA experience.
  • Understanding of USTs as they relate to property acquisitions, including removals and appropriate reporting.
  • Experience developing and utilizing Conceptual Site Models.
  • Experience obtaining state approvals, including ResAPs, DDCCRs, and other state liability documents.
  • Experience with complex DQOs and exposure pathway evaluations.
  • Due Care consulting experience during construction projects, including soil management, dewatering needs, and engineering controls.
  • Familiarity with engineering controls such as VMS and Direct Contact Barriers.
  • Proficient with complex due diligence projects, including Phase I ESAs, Phase II ESAs, BEAs, Due Care evaluations, and related services.

Position Summary

Fishbeck is seeking a full‑time Senior Environmental Project Manager / Environmental Professional (EP) to support our Environmental Due Diligence Department. The primary responsibility of this position is to manage environmental due diligence projects, provide technical leadership, mentor staff, and maintain strong client relationships while serving a variety of stakeholders throughout Michigan.
