Job summary

Terracon in Fort Collins is seeking an experienced Environmental Project Manager to lead due diligence projects in the local market, collaborating with scientists, geologists and engineers to deliver compliant, timely work.

The role involves managing risk assessments, regulatory correspondence, and project reporting, with responsibilities spanning planning, scheduling, budgeting, and coordinating external vendors and APR oversight.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline or 9 years of related experience.
• OSHA 40‑hour HAZWOPER training and current refresher.
• Strong organizational and technical writing skills.
• Working knowledge of environmental regulations.
• A valid driver’s license with acceptable violation history may be required.
• Ability to travel and work on project sites periodically.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of a small to medium sized project.
• Define project scope, schedule and budget with client or NAMs.
• Design and implement a project plan for completing the project.
• Lead safety efforts and ensure compliance with safety plans.
• Coordinate resources, schedules, budgets and forecasts.
• Communicate project status to client and team.
• Coordinate with APR to ensure appropriate oversight.
