Terracon in Fort Lauderdale is seeking a senior environmental engineer to lead a range of environmental projects, including site investigations, engineering analyses, and risk-based remediation designs. You will prepare plans, specifications, and regulatory documents while guiding field teams and coordinating with clients.

The role requires a bachelor’s in Environmental or Civil Engineering with 5–8 years’ experience; master’s preferred and professional registration is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental or Civil Engineering required.
• Minimum 5–8 years’ experience in environmental engineering or related field.
• Professional registration or ability to obtain registration preferred.

Responsabilités

• Follow safety rules and standards for all projects; participate in pre-task planning.
• Provide and lead quality monitoring and improvements on projects; maintain quality standards in proposals.
• Independently perform a variety of projects or segments; plan and schedule detailed work.
• Work with senior project managers to gain experience in more complex projects.
• Mentor junior scientists/engineers and lead project teams when needed.
• Develop written proposals for clients with quality control review.
