Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical owner for assigned environmental programs.
• Develop, implement, and enhance programs to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Establish standards, procedures, and technical requirements.
• Evaluate performance and drive program improvements.
• Drive program outcomes through cross-functional influence without direct authority.
• Foster a culture of safety by aligning programs with corporate safety rules and ensuring compliance in execution.
• Drive accountability by proactively managing environmental risks, tracking regulatory commitments, and ensuring compliance action plans and corrective actions are effectively executed and communicated across the organization.
• Monitor and interpret regulatory requirements and assess program impacts.
• Integrate regulatory obligations into operations and project execution.
• Support permitting, inspections, audits, reporting, and investigations.
• Develop practical compliance solutions that minimize environmental risk.
• Develop and track compliance action plans from audits, inspections, and assessments.
• Monitor program performance using metrics and dashboards.
• Maintain documentation demonstrating compliance and program effectiveness.
• Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Construction, New Business, and other functions to support compliance.
• Deliver practical, business-focused environmental solutions.
• Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Represent Environmental in regulatory interactions, audits, and inspections.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and agencies.
• Serve as a subject matter expert for assigned programs.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to staff and partners.
• Lead complex problem-solving and identify emerging risks.
• Participate in environmental emergency response and on-call rotation.
• Support incident response, investigations, and corrective actions.
