Job summary

Halff is seeking an Environmental professional to manage Electric Transmission Line Routing projects in the Dallas–Fort Worth area and Austin, TX. The role requires strong leadership, client engagement, and regulatory coordination to deliver routing studies and environmental assessments.

You will lead multi-disciplinary teams, manage schedules and budgets, and provide testimony as needed while supporting business development and pursuing new proposals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science or related field; Master’s Degree is a plus.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in Electric Transmission Line Routing.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, with experience communicating with clients, regulatory agencies, and the public.

Responsibilities

• Manage project budgets and schedules.
• Interact with clients and regulatory staff as needed.
• Perform QA/QC and mentor production staff.
• Lead and mentor multi-disciplinary teams to deliver routing studies and environmental documents.
• Develop alternative routes and conduct impacts analyses for compliance.
• Provide expert testimony for contested hearings.
• Travel as needed and collaborate with federal, state, and local agencies.
