Job summary

Arcadis U.S.Inc. is seeking a Senior Environmental Permitting Manager to support its Midwest power business, delivering permitting for renewable development, powered lands, and utility transmission projects.

The role includes opportunity development and project delivery, with a travel expectation of 10-15% and a hybrid work arrangement. You will lead multidisciplinary permitting efforts, ensure QA/QC for deliverables, coordinate with teams of scientists and engineers, and contribute to client

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in environmental science, biology, ecology, geology, water resources, or similar environmental discipline.
• 10 years of total experience in environmental consulting.
• 5 years managing environmental permitting projects, teams, budgets, and deliverables.
• 2 years leading project pursuits with direct client communication.
• Experience coordinating with Midwest permitting agencies for power sector projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary site assessment, permitting, and environmental documentation for power projects.
• Support growth of client relationships and business development in the Midwest.
• Coordinate QA/QC for client deliverables and related services (stormwater, cultural resources, etc.).
