Job summary

Langan is seeking a Senior Project Manager - Environmental Permitting & Compliance to join our San Francisco, CA team. You will lead air permitting, wastewater and stormwater programs, and multi-media compliance projects for diverse clients.

This role offers the opportunity to mentor junior staff, coordinate across offices, and shape regulatory strategies while delivering high-quality permits on schedule and within budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental or Chemical Engineering or Science; Master’s preferred.
• 10+ years of experience with regulations and environmental permitting.
• 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER certification; strong regulatory knowledge.
• Ability to manage multiple clients and projects effectively.

Responsibilities

• Direct and manage large, complex environmental projects with senior technical oversight.
• Develop permitting strategies for industrial and construction projects.
• Prepare and submit permits and compliance programs across air, wastewater, stormwater, waste, and storage tanks.
• Lead and mentor environmental staff and support business development.
