You will manage scope, schedule, and budget while nurturing cross-functional collaboration and client relationships to identify growth opportunities within SLR’s global network.

Qualifications

• 10+ years experience with permitting and compliance in the mining sector.
• Strong consulting experience, with proven ability to manage client relationships.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor and inspire technical teams.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including negotiation, facilitation, and executive-level presentation.
• Strong written communication skills for high level of report writing and peer review capabilities.
• Professional Designation with appropriate Professional Organization.

Responsibilities

• Grow SLR’s Environmental Management, Permitting & Compliance practice, ensuring delivery excellence across all projects.
• Mentor, coach, and develop junior staff across disciplines, fostering collaboration and accountability.
• Advance SLR’s technical capabilities and thought leadership in the mining sector.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to executive-level clients, regulators, and internal stakeholders.
• Maintain strong client relationships, identifying opportunities to expand services across SLR’s global network.
• Provide high-level project management oversight, ensuring scope, schedule, and budget are met.
• Oversee preparation and peer review of complex permitting and compliance documentation.
• Bring technical depth to environmental, engineering, and regulatory challenges with practical solutions.
