Langan is seeking an Environmental Permitting and Compliance Engineer, Scientist, or Project Manager to join its collaborative team in Indianapolis, IN or Milwaukee, WI. This role performs multimedia environmental permitting and compliance work including air quality permitting, audits, SPCC/SWPPP programs, and field support, with opportunities to mentor staff and lead client-focused proposals.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental/Chemical Engineering or related field.
• 6+ years in multimedia environmental permitting and compliance in a consulting setting.
• Air quality permitting and compliance experience is a plus.
• Professional certification: PE/FE/EIT or CHMM preferred.
• 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER certification preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple clients and projects; strong communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare permit applications and compliance programs for air, wastewater, stormwater, waste, SPCC, and storage tanks.
• Perform multimedia environmental compliance audits, gap assessments, inspections, and program reviews.
• Develop and support SPCC, FRP, SPR, SWPPP, Hazardous Waste contingency plans, and related programs.
• Provide oversight and management of junior staff on project assignments.
• Lead or assist in proposals including scope and cost development.
• Manage project budgets and invoicing as project or task manager.
• Interact with clients, contractors, and internal leaders with strong customer service orientation.
• Deliver multiple projects within budgets, schedules, and deadlines.
• Conduct field support at client sites and assist with sample collection.
• Train and mentor junior staff; perform other duties as requested.
