Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or international equivalent in environmental sciences or related field with 8–10 years of relevant experience or 12–14 years total.
• Experience with ISO 14001 management systems.
• Experience with environmental permitting and regulatory approvals.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to work outdoors in varying weather and manage environmental subcontractors.
• Field inspections requiring PPE and safe access to construction sites.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the project environmental program in line with Bechtel’s ESH system and regulatory requirements.
• Integrates environmental requirements into planning, design, work plans, and subcontract documents.
• Communicates environmental requirements to stakeholders and submits permit applications.
• Prepares Environmental Management Plans and mitigation plans; manages reports to agencies.
• Leads training and awareness on environmental, sustainability, and regulatory topics.
• Conducts inspections, monitoring, and sampling to ensure site compliance.
